Do you meet the following criteria for ICAN assistance?
Over 16 years old
Have a valid OHIP card
Require physical assistance due to a permanent disability
Capable or potentially capable of directing your services
Able to live safely unattended (assistance is by appointment only)

The first thing we have to do is assess your needs to determine which programs are best suited and to begin developing a customized path forward.
ICAN offers a comprehensive functional assessment that provides:
detailed information on attendant care needs
training required to achieve independent living goals
other community resources available
Our diverse range of professionals and our specialized facilities allows ICAN to develop a custom client assessment over 2-6 weeks. The assessment consists of an analysis of abilities in the following areas:
