Rehabilitation Support Worker (RSW)
Location: Greater Sudbury
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Unionized
The Rehabilitation Support Worker (RSW) provides vital assistance to adults living with physical disabilities, post-stroke conditions, and seniors in achieving greater independence. The RSW works closely with clients to support their goals in daily living activities, personal care, and rehabilitation and delivers engaging programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being for clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant, Health Promotion, or a related field
- Experience working with adults living with physical disabilities or post stroke conditions (preferred)
- Strong group facilitation skills
