This role supports individual and group participation in meaningful activities that encourage independence, build confidence, and support rehabilitation goals. What We’re Looking For:
Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy, Activation, Health Promotion, Gerontology, or related field or relevant experience within the last two years.
First Aid (required) & CPR (preferred).
Group facilitation skills, with emphasis on social, recreational, and exercise activities.

Summer Maintenance Assistant
Location: Greater Sudbury
Type: Part-Time, Contract
Join ICAN as a Maintenance Assistant to provide housekeeping/janitorial services for the buildings owned and operated by ICAN - Independence Centre and Network, and to assist the maintenance person in outdoor maintenance, grounds work, repairs, and maintenance. Contract runs from June - August 2026, 15 hours/week.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma
- First Aid (required) & CPR (preferred)
- Ability regularly carry objects up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs
