ICAN - Independence Centre and Network is a community based non-profit organization providing services and resources to people who have physical disabilities. Services include assessment & independence training, supportive housing, outreach and temporary accommodation. All services are offered in both official languages.

All services aim to provide opportunities and support systems for independent living. The majority of our services are funded by the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).
ICAN - CERD is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and is made up of people with physical disabilities, and representatives of the professional and business community.
Mission Statement
ICAN provides persons with physical disabilities opportunities for independence and community inclusion by providing individualized support and rehabilitation services.
Rehabilitation
A goal oriented and often time-limited process which enables individuals with impairments, activity limitations and participation restrictions to identify and reach their optimal physical, mental and/or social functioning level through a client-focused partnership with family, providers and the community.
